Kardashians, The Wanted, Ryan Lochte & More At E! Upfronts in NYC

There’s a little thing called “Upfronts” in the media world. It’s a special event that several television networks host to promote the upcoming season of new television series.

On Monday, April 22, I was one of many lucky fans selected to attend the exclusive red carpet for E! Networks Upfronts in New York City so, I grabbed my pal Margaret from “It’s All Mayhem” to attend the event with me.

I wasn’t too sure what we would be doing on the carpet but it turned out that we could be eye candy as personalities from E! walked the red carpet for the event.

Basically everybody who is anybody that appears on the channel were in attendance. The stars that walked right by my very bright, green eyes were: Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Scott Disick, Ryan Lochte, Chelsea Handler, Dani and Kevin Jonas, Joel McHale, Ross Mathews, Kelly Osbourne, The Wanted, Giuliana Rancic, Kris Jenner, Brody Jenner, Ryan Seacrest and SO many more!

The carpet was really fun and I was in the best spot possible so I was able to appear in basically ALL of the paparazzi shots, since we weren’t allowed to have personal cameras on the carpet. I feel like E! has a requirement that you MUST be under 5’5 to appear on their network. Max from The Wanted is SO short and so is Kimmie, Kourt, Kelly O, Ryan Seacrest (but we already knew that) Kris and even Giuliana. The only person that seems to tower over everyone is Joel McHale.

But can I tell you that Joel McHale is the sweetest and most humble guy ever! He insisted that we (and when I say we I mean fans) didn’t pay attention to him because there were much more famous people on the carpet. He was one of the few celebs that actually embraced the fans. Now don’t get me wrong, everyone was nice but Joel jumped into the crowd and even kissed the girl next to me on the forehead.

Giuliana was really sweet. She signed books that fans brought and really took the time to talk to us. Ryan Lochte, who has a new show on E!, was shy at first but warmed up when our side chanted “Jeah,” his signature saying. He smiled, turned to us and said, “On the count of three say ‘jeah,'” which we obliged. Scott Disick was really quiet and didn’t pose for many pics. He barely cracked a smile but my side of the fan pit came to the rescue again and chanted, “Lord Disick.” He smiled, waved and went into the event. Kimmie was glowing preggers but hide her bump and Kelly O was her adorable self. Brody Jenner, from The Hills and new season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, is fine as hell and joked around with my pit of fans, making great photo ops! And let’s not forget The Wanted performed “Glad You Came” before the event was over.

I think it’s safe to say I had a wonderful time! Definitely going down in the Glambergirlblog list of great events of the year!
