MTV Movie Awards 2013: Aubrey Plaza Crashes Stage During Will Ferrell Speech [VIDEO]

Every good award show needs a stage crash! We all remember the infamous Kanye West one during Taylor Swift’s Best Video of the Year speech in 2009 at the VMAs. This year, at the 2013 MTV Movie Awards, Aubrey Plaza pulled one on Will Ferrell during his stand up routine/acceptance speech for Comedic Genius Award.

Plaza, who stars on “Parks and Recreation“, stormed the stage with a drink in hand and “#TheToDoList” (title of her new movie) written on her chest, trying to snatch away the award. A confused Ferrell handled the situation like any great comedic actor would do and ad-libbed a new part to his bit. After she walked off the stage without saying a word, the “Anchorman” actor in his best Ron Burgundy voice said, “Just like we rehearsed it. Perfect, it was perfect. Not too long, not too short. Right on the money.”

It was later realized that the interaction was not scripted and Plaza was asked to leave the award show after it happened. Much later in the night, she tweeted at Kanye to thank him for her inspiration. Alrighty then. Check out the two stars and their awkward interaction below!
