An Anniversary Trip Turns Into A True Crime Adventure In ‘The Resort’ Starring Cristin Milioti and William Jackson Harper

Put Cristin Milioti and William Jackson Harper in a project together and you have me sitting up at full attention.

The upcoming Peacock Original Series The Resort stars Cristin Milioti and William Jackson Harper as Emma and Noah, a married couple celebrating their 10-year anniversary. The pair travel to the Bahia del Paraiso resort in Yucatan for a romantic getaway or from the trailer seemingly trying to put some spark back in their marriage, but end up wrapped in a true-crime adventure.

During a motorbike accident, Emma stumbles on a cell phone belonging to a kid named Sam (Skyler Gisondo) who went missing in Yucatan 15 years prior. Sam arrived at the resort with his family and girlfriend on Christmas night and was gone the next morning. Emma and Noah find themselves enthralled with finding answers to the case which will span the past and the present. I’m so in for this.

Nick Offerman, Debby Ryan, Dylan Baker, and Amber Rivera all appear in The Resort streaming on Peacock on Thursday, July 28th.
