Halfway to Halloween: 6 Horror Movies To Watch In Theaters Before Spooky Season

We’re half way to Halloween, but for all my horror lovers out there you don’t have to wait until October to check out some good Spooky Season movies in theaters. Below are six films releasing over the next couple of months that you can head to the theaters to see to hold you over until Spooky Season arrives.

Final Destination: Bloodlines” – in theaters May 16

Cast: April Telek, Tony Todd, Brec Bassinger, Richard Harmon, Rya Kihlstedt, Max Lloyd-Jones, Kaitlyn Santa Juana, Teo Briones, Owen Patrick Joyner, and Alex Zahara

Synopsis: Plagued by a recurring violent nightmare, a college student returns home to find the one person who can break the cycle and save her family from the horrific fate that inevitably awaits them.

M3GAN 2.0″ – in theaters June 27

Cast: Violet McGraw, Allison Williams, Jemaine Clement, Ivanna Sakhno, Amie Donald, Jenna Davis, Brian Jordan Alvarez, Jen Van Epps, Timm Sharp, and Mayen Mehta

Synopsis: Two years after M3GAN’s rampage, her creator, Gemma, resorts to resurrecting her infamous creation in order to take down Amelia, the military-grade weapon who was built by a defense contractor who stole M3GAN’s underlying tech.

I Know What You Did Last Summer” – in theaters July 18

Cast: Tyriq Withers, Madelyn Cline, Chase Sui Wonders, Jonah Hauer-King, Sarah Pidgeon, Freddie Prinze Jr., and Jennifer Love Hewit

Synopsis: A group of friends is terrorized by a stalker who knows about a gruesome incident from their past.

Together” – in theaters July 30

Cast: Dave Franco, Alison Brie, Damon Herriman, Mia Morrissey, Karl Richmond, Jack Kenny, Francesca Waters, and Aljin Abella

Weapons” – in theaters August 8

Cast: Josh Brolin, Julia Garner, Alden Ehrenreich, Austin Abrams, Cary Christopher, Benedict Wong, and Amy Madigan

Synopsis: When all but one child from the same class mysteriously vanish on the same night at exactly the same time, a community is left questioning who or what is behind their disappearance.

The Conjuring: Last Rites” – in theaters September 5

Cast: Vera Farmiga, Patrick Wilson, Mia Tomlinson, Ben Hardy, Steve Coulter, Rebecca Calder, Elliot Cowan, Kíla Lord Cassidy, Beau Gadsdon, John Brotherton and Shannon Kook

Synopsis: Paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren take on one last terrifying case involving mysterious entities they must confront.
