John Kramer aka Jigsaw and humane in the same sentence is a conundrum. If you’ve watched any “Saw” film then it’s hard to imagine John as a kind person, but the tenth installment in the franchise is giving fans an in-depth look at what makes Jigsaw tick.

Kevin Greutert, director of “Saw VI” and “Saw 3D,” returns to the film series along with “Spiral” and “Jigsaw” co-writers Josh Stolberg and Pete Goldfinger. In “Saw X,” John Kramer (Tobin Bell) travels to Mexico in a last-resort attempt to save his life. Sick and desperate, John takes part in a risky and experimental medical procedure in hopes of a miracle cure for his cancer, but he gets tricked by a group of scammers. Their worst mistake. Now in Jigsaw mode, John sets out to show these scammers are unworthy of life unless they can prove otherwise and survive one of his visceral traps.

THE ‘SAW X’ EYE VACUUM TRAP IS A SIGHT TO BEHOLD IN NEW OFFICIAL CLIP

“Saw X” has the longest running time in the franchise (1 hour and 58 minutes), but lacks some of the essence that made me a “Saw” fan. Read my full “Saw X” review via Popternative.com HERE.

“Saw X” is playing now in theaters.
