Ryan Gosling Brings “Kenergy” in the ‘I’m Just Ken’ Exclusive From the ‘Barbie’ Movie

It’s no secret that “Barbie” is my most anticipated movie of the year. The world premiere took place on Sunday, July 9 in Los Angeles and early reviews are praising the movie especially Ryan Gosling‘s performance as Ken. With less than two weeks away from the movie coming to theaters, Warner Bros. is giving an exclusive sneak peek into what fans can expect. One word: KENERGY!

In May, the album lineup for the “Barbie” soundtrack was released and one name that stood out was Ryan Gosling. Fans who follow Gosling’s career are well aware of his performing background dating all the way back to his Mickey Mouse Club days. (Do yourself a favor and watch these young kids perform “Cry For You” NOW).

On Track 8 of the “Barbie” soundtrack, Gosling performs a song called “I’m Just Ken” where he croons about being second to Barbie and he’s no one without her. The musical number will be in the feature film and a newly released clip from the movie shows viewers just how epic it will be.

Dua Lipa’s “Dance The Night,” KAROL G’s “WATATI (feat. Aldo Ranks),” Nicki Minaj & Ice Spice’s “Barbie World (with Aqua),” PinkPantheress’s “Angel,” and FIFTY FIFTY’s “Barbie Dreams (feat Kaliii)” are some of the already released tracks from the Barbie The Album soundtrack. The album drops the same day as the movie release.

“Barbie” comes to theaters on July 21, 2023.
