A different Covey girl is getting her chance at love in the upcoming Netflix series XO, Kitty.
Anna Cathcart reprises her role as Katherine Song Covey aka Kitty from the “To All the Boys” movies in the spin-off series. In “To All the Boys: Always and Forever” (2021), the third and final film in the franchise, Lara Jean (Lana Condor), Margot (Janel Parrish), and Kitty traveled to Seoul for Spring break with their dad Dan (John Corbett) and his girlfriend Trina (Sarayu Blue). During the trip, Kitty meets a boy on the bridge named Dae and the pair begin corresponding.
In XO, Kitty, following in her sister’s footsteps, Kitty aims to have her own epic love story and plans to travel to Korea for a semester abroad while continuing her love story with Dae (Minyeong Choi). Corbett and Blue also reprise their “To All the Boys” roles with Anthony Keyvan, Théo Augier Bonaventure, Ivan Melgares, and Yunjin Kim making up the ensemble cast.
XO, Kitty streams on Netflix on May 18.
