Dave Chappelle Brings Iconic ‘Chappelle Show’ Characters To ‘House of the Dragon’ on SNL

Dave Chappelle returned to Rockefeller Plaza’s studio 8H over the weekend to host Saturday Night Live for the third time with musical guest Black Star. During a sketch poking fun at HBO’s House of the Dragon, Chappelle threw in Targaryen versions of some infamous Chapelle Show characters.

In the clip, “Allies (Dave Chappelle, Kenan Thompson, Ego Nwodim, Punkie Johnson) of Rhaenyra Targaryen (Chloe Fineman) and Daemon Targaryen (Michael Longfellow) visit the couple at Dragonstone.” Among those allies were Chappelle’s Silky Johnson, Donnell Rawlings’ Beautiful, and Ice T from The Playa Haters, Tyrone Biggums, and Chappelle’s impression of Rick James.

This isn’t the first time Chappelle Show characters appeared in an SNL sketch. Back in November 2016 when Chappelle hosted Tyrone Biggums, Clayton Bigsby, Chuck Taylor, and The Playa’s Haters’ Club members appeared in a Walking Dead scene on the show.
