The ‘Pitch Perfect’ Franchise Heads To Germany in Peacock Original Series ‘Bumper in Berlin’

Beginning in 2012, the “Pitch Perfect” franchise has made films that combine a cappella, riff-offs, and ultimate music mashups that spanned three films (“Pitch Perfect 2” in 2015 and “Pitch Perfect 3” in 2017). Now the first spin-off series from the “Pitch Perfect” world is coming to Peacock.

Adam Devine is reprising his Bumper Allen role in Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin. Bumper was last seen in “Pitch Perfect 2” successfully earning a spot on The Voice with coach Christina Aguilera, but things have obviously taken a turn since then. In Bumper in Berlin, Bumper is working as a security guard when he gets a call from Pieter Krämer (Flula Borg) – also reprising his role from “Pitch Perfect 2.” Bumper is a TikTok viral sensation in Berlin and agrees to move there in order to excel in his music career with help from Pieter and his assistant Heidi (Sarah Hyland).

Jameela Jamil and Lera Abova also star in Bumper in Berlin coming to Peacock on November 23, 2022.
