Drew Barrymore and Casey Wilson Freak Out Meeting Penn Badgley And I So Get It

Penn Badgley is no stranger to intense levels of female attention. His roles as the younger Tucker, Woodchuck Todd, and Dan Humphrey have something to do with it, but it wasn’t until his 2018 role as Joe Goldberg in Netflix’s cult-favorite You that his fame reached new thirst levels and I am one of those women in line.

Although Badgley plays a psycho, stalker-murderer in You, that doesn’t deter women, and some men, from being in love with his character. Penn has said in countless interviews that people should not root or have any affectionate feelings towards Joe, but he understands the appeal comes from how he looks and how he plays him. To be fair Penn really does an outstanding job as this character 50% because of how he looks and the other half is because of that voice, oh that voice.

Badgley has racked up a number of superfans because of Joe and celebs are not exempt. Earlier this week on The Drew Barrymore Show, Drew and Casey Wilson were surprised during the “Drew’s News” segment with Penn Badgley. They proceeded to freak out being huge fans of You and it’s the funniest thing.

Drew and Casey gushed over their love for Penn and he briefly talked about his upcoming podcast, Podcrushed, in which he will narrator middle school story submissions.
