Will, Grace, Jack, and Karen are back! Well at least for a 10 episode reunion season of Will & Grace that is.

Yes, Eric McCormack, Debra Messing, Sean Hayes, and Megan Mullally will be reprising their iconic roles for the popular NBC series, that ran from 1998 -2006, for the 2017-2018 television season. The announcement came on Wednesday, Jan. 18, sending Twitter into a frenzy with “Will & Grace” becoming a trending topic.

NBC Entertainment Chairman Robert Greenblatt revealed in a statement, “We’re thrilled that one of the smartest, funniest, and most defining comedies in NBC history is coming back. This groundbreaking series for everything from gay rights to social and political commentary — all disguised as a high-speed train of witty pop culture — is coming back where it belongs.”

Along with the four original main actors, original series creators and showrunners Max Mutchnick and David Kohan and director/producer James Burrows are returning.

Hayes (Jack) shared his excitement on Twitter. He tweeted, “I am thrilled to confirm that #WillAndGrace is coming back to @NBC for the 2017/18 season for 10 eps.,” once the news was made public. He added an official video promoting the reunion season.

Back in September the cast got together in junction with the election season to weigh in on the candidates and the current state of pop culture as their characters. It was so well received leaving fans of the 16 Emmy award-winning series wanting more. Wish granted!
