Kelly Osbourne quit E! Fashion Police!

On Friday, it was announced that 30-year-old Osbourne, who joined Fashion Police in 2010, has exited the show to “pursue other opportunities.”

An official statement from E! Entertainment read, “Kelly Osbourne is departing E!s Fashion Police to pursue other opportunities, and we would like to thank her for her many contributions to the series over the past five years, during which time the show became a hit with viewers.”

The statement concluded with, “Fashion Police will return, as scheduled, on Monday, March 30, at 9 p.m. and no decisions have been made on her replacement.”

Many are speculating Osbourne followed through with her threat to quit Fashion Police following the major backlash her now former FP co-host Giuliana Rancic faced after comments she made about Zendaya‘s appearance at this year’s Academy Awards red carpet.

Fashion Police returned last month after a hiatus following the death of the late founding host Joan Rivers in September 2014. Two new additions came aboard the Fashion Police team; new host Kathy Griffin and co-host Brad Goreski.

Executive producer of the show, Melissa Rivers, daughter of late Joan Rivers, personally released a statement saying, “Kelly Osbourne is a friend and has been a wonderful part of the Fashion Police family. I will miss her terribly and wish her the very best in all of her future endeavors. As my mother always said, the show must go on and I plan to continue in the same spirit.”
