Ariana Grande served as this weekend’s host and musical guest at Saturday Night Live. Her Broadway, TV acting, and music background helped the pint size beauty a ton while serving as a first time host because she was perfect.

Grande opened the show with a monologue about being young and not having an adult scandal like a sex tape, drug habit, or some type of outlandish tagline attached to her name. So what did she do? She sung about it. Throughout the show, the 22-year-old combined her amazing voice and acting chops in sketches that showed all of it off.

One of the first sketches that made me laugh was when SNL cast members Taran Killam and Vanessa Bayer acted as red carpet correspondents for Nickelodeon at the Kid’s Choice Awards with backstage help from Grande’s character. They proceeded to spoof Bow Wow during this year’s Grammy’s when he had trouble throwing to the live show while there was still time on the countdown clock. It was hilarious.

Another great moment for the “Dangerous Woman” singer was when she acted as a Tidal intern named Chloe. This sketch was done before with Bruno Mars and Pandora. This time Tidal was experiencing technical difficulties and Chloe had to step in and sing snippets of songs until the station was back up. Grande is a master of impersonating singers so I knew this would slay. She did Britney Spears, Shakira, Celine Dion, Rihanna and Whitney Houston. But wait, in another sketch Grande did a Jennifer Lawrence impersonation that I never knew I needed until then.

In between sketches Grande performed two new songs from her upcoming album: “Dangerous Woman” and “Be Alright.” Overall I think Ariana did an amazing job as host and her performances slayed as well. Watch some of the clips that I loved below and head over to NBC.com to see all of the clips from the episode.
