‘Glee’ Star Cory Monteith Found Dead in Vancouver Hotel Room

I woke up this morning to very shocking news and I honestly didn’t think it was true but after checking multiple credible media outlets it has been confirmed that Glee actor Cory Monteith has died.

The Canadian actor who became a national familiar face by playing Finn Hudson on FOX’s hit show Glee was found dead in a hotel room in Vancouver on Saturday afternoon. Cory Monteith was scheduled to check out of his Fairmont Pacific Rim Hotel room at noon on July 13 but when he didn’t, employees of the hotel went to check the room out and discovered him dead.

A rep told Gossip Cop, “We are so saddened to confirm that the reports on the death of Cory Monteith are accurate. We are in shock and mourning this tragic loss.”

Monteith, 31, was struggling with substance abuse but that is not believed to be the cause of his death. He was also dating his Glee co-star Lea Michele, who has not made any comments about his death at the moment. You can see what Hollywood had to say about Cory Monteith’s death on Twitter HERE.
