‘The Devil Wears Prada 2’ AMC Popcorn Purse Bucket Has Fans Excited

If you needed another reason to go see “The Devil Wears Prada 2” opening weekend then allow me to introduce the fierce merch AMC Theatres is offering up.

The sequel is slated to follow Miranda Priestly’s (Meryl Streep) struggle against Emily Charlton (Emily Blunt), her former assistant turned rival executive, as they compete for advertising revenue amidst declining print media while Miranda nears retirement. Of course Anne Hathaway is reprising her role as Andy and Stanley Tucci will also return as Nigel. The streets of NYC aren’t safe from the fashions this movie about to serve.

The AMC merch for the film includes a purse shaped popcorn bucket, a popcorn tin with the film’s logo, tumblrs, souvenir cups, and a bag charm. Fans have already created memes showing their reaction to the popcorn purse and how they plan to rock it. Do I need this Popcorn Handbag? No, but man do I want it!

Along with original main cast returning for the sequel 20 years later, Tracie Thoms and Tibor Feldman are also reprising their roles as Lily and Irv with director David Frankel and writer Aline Brosh McKenna also attached to the project. Kenneth Branagh, Simone Ashley, Justin Theroux, Lucy Liu, Patrick Brammall, Caleb Hearon, Helen J. Shen, Pauline Chalamet, B.J. Novak and Conrad Ricamora are joining the cast.
