Gird your loins, Miranda, Andy, Emily, and Nigel are back together in the official trailer for “The Devil Wears Prada 2.”
The sequel is slated to follow Miranda Priestly’s (Meryl Streep) struggle against Emily Charlton (Emily Blunt), her former assistant turned rival executive, as they compete for advertising revenue amidst declining print media while Miranda nears retirement. Of course Anne Hathaway is reprising her role as Andy and Stanley Tucci will also return as Nigel. The official trailer highlights the moment when Miranda, Andy, Emily, and Nigel all meet each other once again and it’s comedy gold. I just know this movie is going to make me immensely happy.
Kenneth Branagh, Simone Ashley, Justin Theroux, Lucy Liu, Patrick Brammall, Caleb Hearon, Helen J. Shen, Pauline Chalamet, B.J. Novak and Conrad Ricamora are joining the cast with Tracie Thoms and Tibor Feldman returning as their characters from the first movie.
