Vecna Returns For One Final Battle in Hawkins in the ‘Stranger Things’ Season 5 Official Trailer

Walk ’em down Wheeler, Steve and Dustin in an emotional embrace, and El FLYING! The epic official trailer for fifth and final season of Stranger Things is here and I already know by the time the credits roll for the last episode I’m going to be in shambles.

In Stranger Things season 5 the story picks up in the fall of 1987 where Hawkins is scarred by the opening of the rifts and the heroes are united by a single goal: to find and kill Vecna. With the town under military quarantine and Eleven back in hiding the hunt for Vecna won’t be easy. The official trailer previews the return of Vecna with his army of monsters attacking Hawkins while our Stranger Things fam fight for their lives. Casualties are guaranteed and so is my heartbreak.

Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery,Maya Hawke, Priah Ferguson, Brett Gelman, Jamie Campbell Bower, Cara Buono, and Amybeth McNulty return to the series with Nell Fisher, Jake Connelly, Alex Breaux, and Linda Hamilton joining for the final round.

Stranger Things 5 premieres in three parts; Volume 1 (Episodes 1-4) drops on November 26, followed by Volume 2 (Episodes 5-7) on Christmas, and the Finale (Episode 8) comes on New Year’s Eve. Newly announced, the finale will also premiere in theaters the same day as the streaming release with each volume releasing at 5 p.m. PT| 8 p.m. ET.
