The ‘Wicked: For Good’ First Look Takes Viewers to a Darker Oz

I can’t believe we’re about to be in the midst of another press run for “Wicked.” Come November the epic conclusion of Glinda (Ariana Grande) and Elphaba’s (Cynthia Erivo) story will come to a close in “Wicked: For Good”

The Broadway film adaptation is once again directed by Jon M. Chu and will take viewers into a darker and more emotional Oz. Now branded as The Wicked Witch of the West, Elphaba lives in exile, hidden within the Ozian forest while continuing her fight for the freedom of Oz’s silenced Animals and desperately trying to expose the truth she knows about The Wizard (Jeff Goldblum).

Meanwhile, Glinda is living her best life as the glamorous symbol of Goodness for all of Oz, living at the palace in Emerald City, reveling in the perks of fame and popularity and finally having Madame Morrible (Michelle Yeoh) as a mentor. When a girl from Kansas, aka Dorothy, comes to Oz the lives of Glinda, Elphaba, Prince Fiyero (Jonathan Bailey), Boq (Ethan Slater), and Elphaba’s sister, Nessarose (Marissa Bode) are transformed forever. Can’t wait!
