Discover Pennywise’s Maine Roots in HBO’s ‘IT: Welcome to Derry’ [TV TRAILER]

Get ready to go back to the beginning in the HBO original series IT: Welcome to Derry.

The series, coming out later this year, will follow events in the 1960s leading up to what transpired in the first Stephen King “It” film. No other major plots about the show are known, but IT: Welcome to Derry will have 8 episodes and stars Taylour Paige, Jovan Adepo, Joshua Odjick, James Remar, Kimberly Guerrero, and Bill Skarsgård as Pennywise yet again. He first appeared as the dancing clown in the the 2017 feature film “It,” then again in 2019 in “It: Chapter Two.” I think Skarsgård does a great job as the character, so I’m glad he’s back in that creepy role.
