Alma Olsson (Roberts), a respected and well-liked Ivy League professor, finds herself at a personal and professional crossroads when Maggie (Edebiri), a stellar student and Alma’s protégée, levels an accusation against one of Alma’s close friend and colleagues Henrik (Garfield) and a dark secret from Alma’s past threatnes to come to light. Not everything is supposed to make you comfortable.
