‘Stranger Things’ Fans Will Say Goodbye to The Series During The Holiday Season

This holiday season forget the turkey, eggnog, and champagne to ring in the new year and get ready for Demogorgons, waffles, and the Upside Down for the final showdown in Hawkins as Netflix’s Stranger Things comes to an end with the fifth and final season.

During Tudum, Netflix’s global fan event where they reveal upcoming projects and offer sneak peaks, the Stranger Things 5 date announcement was revealed assuring fans that the final season would be coming during the holiday season over 3 volumes. Stranger Things season 5 will take place during the fall of 1987 with Hawkins under military quarantine now that the Rifts has been opened. Vecna (Jamie Campbell Bower) is no where to be found, but the gang is determined to find and kill him. Meanwhile Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) has to go back into hiding and a final battle is looming that will require everyone to stand together, “one last time.”

Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, Maya Hawke, Priah Ferguson, Brett Gelman, Jamie Campbell Bower, Cara Buono, Amybeth McNulty, Nell Fisher, Jake Connelly, Alex Breaux, and Linda Hamilton make up the season 5 cast of Stranger Things. I’m excited for the final season. Every time I thought I wouldn’t be entertained by a new season I get pulled right back into the Upside Down. I know it’s been a minute since the last season, 2022 to be exact, so I’m going to need to run up that hill and have a refresher binge before I get into the final season.

Volume 1 of Stranger Things 5 drops on November 26 with four episodes, three episodes come out on Christmas day, and the final episode premieres New Year’s Eve. All episodes come to Netflix at 5pm PST/ 8pm EST.
