Children Go Missing in The First Eerie Teaser for Horror Flick ‘Weapons’

I usually don’t gravitate towards a horror film with children in it, but baby the premise and teaser trailer for “Weapons” has me already seated. Zach Cregger, the genius who wrote “Barbarian” (2022), wrote and directed this one and will star Julia Garner, Josh Brolin, June Diane Raphael, Benedict Wong, Austin Abrams, Amy Madigan, Alden Ehrenreich, and Toby Huss, although none of them are featured in the teaser trailer.

“Weapons” is described as an interrelated, multistory horror epic following a community questioning who or what is behind the disappearance of a group of children from the same class who all vanished on the same night at exactly the same time. The trailer is mysterious and creepy and I don’t want to see anything else about this movie until I’m watching it on the big screen. “Weapons” is slated to come to theaters August 8, 2025.
