The BET+ Original Movie ‘The Accused’ Balances Humor With Suspense In The Action Filled Thriller

How do you think you’d handle being accused of a murder you know you didn’t commit? That’s what Dani West is up against in the new BET+ Original Movie “The Accused.”

Paige Audrey-Marie Hurd stars as Dani West, a brilliant plant geneticist who is framed for the murder of her fiancé (Robert Christopher Riley). While evading a corrupt police system and a medical scandal that she’s blindly involved in, Dani must use her intelligence and physical prowess to prove her innocence before time runs out.

Based on a screenplay by Pat White and Clarence Williams and directed by Tony Glazer, “The Accused” takes viewers on a wild ride as Dani fights to clear her name and for the integrity of her community. Lawrence Saint-Victor, Crystal Lee Brown, Summer Crockett Moore, Nicole G. Leier, Manny Perez, and Rockmond Dunbar also star in the film.

“The Accused” is an adrenaline fueled odyssey that will leave you on the edge of your seat speculating who you can trust until the very end, but there’s also some humorous moments throughout.
