Michelle Williams Stars as a Sexually Liberated Cancer Ridden Woman in ‘Dying for Sex’

When life throws you curve balls many take that as a sign to finally start living with no bounds. Inspired by the story of public figure Molly Kochan comes Hulu’s new series Dying for Sex starring Michelle Williams and Jenny Slate.

When Molly (Williams) receives a diagnosis of Stage IV metastatic breast cancer she decides to leave her husband Steve and begins to explore her sexual desires for the first time in her life. Her best friend Nikki (Slate) is the angel on her shoulder who encourages her sexual adventures until the very end. Dying for Sex, as mentioned above, is based on the 2020 Wondery podcast by Kochan and her best friend Nikki Boyer with Rob Delaney, Jay Duplass, and Sissy Spacek also starring in the show. Sadly, Molly passed in 2019 and if the show is true to her story I know it’s going to be a bittersweet watch.
