April is already shaping up to be my favorite month of 2025 thus far because they are just so many good TV shows and films releasing that month and I can’t even stand the anticipation. One of those TV shows dropping next month is a returning fave, Black Mirror on Netflix.
The seventh season of the Charlie Brooker created series Black Mirror comes back to one of the biggest streaming services in mid April and while the last few seasons have been lackluster compared to the earlier ones, I’m still a fan and am optimist so I’m hoping this season will bring back better quality like the ones back from 2011, 2013, 2016, and 2017. The last time we had new episodes was back in 2023 and fans of the dystopian Sci-Fi anthology are eager to see what the new installment will bring.
A trailer for Black Mirror season 7 teased a look at the sequel for season 4’s “USS Callister,” the first time a story has been revisited, along with a peak at what’s to come. Brooker promises this season will go back to the basics and will have horrifying things that will occur. As twisted as this sounds, I sure hope so.
The full cast for Black Mirror season 7 include Will Poulter, Rashida Jones, Cristin Milioti, Emma Corrin, Billy Magnussen, Paul Giamatti, Chris O’Dowd, Issa Rae, Tracee Ellis Ross, Michele Austin, Ben Bailey Smith, Asim Chaudhry, Josh Finan, James Nelson-Joyce, Awkwafina, Milanka Brooks, Peter Capaldi, Patsy Ferran, Lewis Gribben, Osy Ikhile, Siena Kelly, Rosy McEwen, Paul G. Raymond, Jimmi Simpson, Harriet Walter, Jay Simpson, and Michael Workéyè.
Six new episodes of Black Mirror premiere on Netflix on Thursday, April 10. Watch the Black Mirror season 7 official trailer in the clip below.
