Joe Goldberg Returns to Slay New York in The Final Season on ‘You’ [TV TRAILER]

Joe Goldberg is back in his original stalking grounds and all eyes are on him in what is slated to be a killer final season of the hit Netflix series You. 

Penn Badgley returns for his last hurrah as the demented and charming Goldberg in the fifth and final season of You coming to Netflix towards the end of next month. The official trailer for the season dropped teasing Joe’s new upscale life in New York thanks to Kate (Charlotte Ritchie), but Joe is never satisfied with happily ever after. Season five will pick up three years after the events in season four finding Kate as the CEO of the Lockwood Corporation and Joe deemed “Prince Charming” in the public eye as her dotting husband. Joe has Henry back and finds a new obsession in an intriguing woman named Bronte (Madeline Brewer), but his past is coming back to haunt him. Annika (Kathryn Gallagher) from season one and Nadia (Amy-Leigh Hickman) from season four are featured in the trailer and I’m sure that will mean inconveniences for Joe.

Griffin Matthews, Anna Camp, Natasha Behnam, b, Pete Ploszek, Tom Francis, and Nava Mau make up the recurring cast you will see in the upcoming season.

All 10 episodes of the fifth and final season of You streams on Netflix on Thursday, April 24, 2025.
