The biggest night in Hollywood is days away and the most anticipated award of the evening, Best Picture, is receiving more controversial buzz than ever. The 97th Academy Awards, aka the Oscars, takes place Sunday, March 2 at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood with host Conan O’Brien and expected performances by Queen Latifah, Raye, Doja Cat, Lisa from Blackpink, Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande.

Best Picture is the highly coveted award of the evening with “Still Here,” “The Brutalist,” “Conclave,” “A Complete Unknown,” “Emilia Pérez,” “Anora,” “The Substance,” “Nickel Boys,” “Wicked,” and “Dune Part 2” up for the top honor. This award show season has been both predictable and unexpected with a slew of awards going to Zoe Saldana for Supporting Actress in “Emilia Pérez”, Demi Moore racking up for Best Lead Actress for “The Substance,” Adam Brody taking home many awards for his leading role in “The Brutalist,” “Wicked” walking away with next to nothing and “Conclave” taking a lot.
