A Grisly Teaser For ‘Final Destination Bloodlines’ Gets Franchise Fans Excited [MOVIE]

What could be more sinister than a dark and desolate tattoo parlor? One set in the “Final Destination” universe. The deadly franchise is returning for its sixth installment and this time death runs in the family in “Final Destination Bloodlines.”

A official teaser for “Final Destination Bloodlines” was released on Monday, February 3, teasing a gnarly kill scene that included a tattoo parlor, harsh chemicals, and a nose piercing. With those things combined of course death is going to do what it does in these movies. What I really enjoy about the “Final Destination” films is how the most rational and irrational fears are placed before the audience and executes them to perfection. Logs on a truck, shoelaces getting stuck in an escalator, falling off a roller coaster, being hit by as bus, a laser eye surgery accident, tanning, and an acupuncture mishap are just some of the ways the “Final Destination” films have personally victimized a generation. And you know what, I want more because I love this franchise! I may actually skip seeing the official trailer for this one because I truly want to go in knowing as little as possible.

Directed by Adam Stein & Zach Lipovsky with the screenplay by Guy Busick & Lori Evans Taylor, and story by Jon Watts and Guy Busick & Lori Evans Taylor, “Final Destination Bloodlines” is said to follow a college student named Stefanie who is plagued by a violent recurring nightmare. She returns home to track down the one person who might be able to break the cycle and save her family from death. Kaitlyn Santa Juana, Teo Briones, Richard Harmon, Owen Patrick Joyner, Rya Kihlstedt, Anna Lore, Brec Bassinger, and Tony Todd are featured in the cast.

“Final Destination Bloodlines” comes to theaters on May 16, 2025.
