I’ve been a fan of Robert Pattinson for quite some time so I’m a simple girl. I see his name and I’m already invested. Bong Joon Ho, writer/director of Academy Award-winning film “Parasite,” is back with a movie that’s out of this world in “Mickey 17.”

Based on the novel “Mickey 7” by Edward Ashton, Pattinson stars as Mickey Barnes in the movie, an unlikely hero who unintentionally signs on to be an expendable for his job meaning he will die again and again in the name of science. So basically he’s a regenerative guinea pig. The new trailer gives more insight on how ridiculous this movie is going to be, but in the best way. The choice of voice Rob is doing is pretty funny and the concept in general in bonkers, so I’m intrigued. This movie got pushed back so many times so I’m glad it’s finally coming to theaters. Naomi Ackie, Steven Yeun, Toni Collette and Mark Ruffalo make up the ensemble cast.

“Mickey 17” comes to theaters nationwide on March 7, 2025.
