A Masked Killer Slays Couples on Valentine’s Day in ‘Heart Eyes’ Official Trailer

You have to be a big love hater to terrorize couples on Valentine’s Day. And you know I’m here for it. In Sony’s upcoming slasher “Heart Eyes” couples are on the chopping block with a masked killer on the loose.

Directed by Josh Ruben and written by Phillip Murphy, Christopher Landon, & Michael Kennedy, “Heart Eyes” tells the terrifying tale of the “Heart Eyes Killer,” a killer who has been stalking and murdering couples for years. Olivia Holt and Mason Gooding lead the film as the latest couple being victimized.  Jordana Brewster, Devon Sawa, Gigi Zumbado, Ben Black, Chris Parker, Latham Gaines, and Lauren O’Hara also appear in the film.

It came to my attention that slashers are my horror subgenre of choice and after watching this trailer I’m so on board for this movie, especially with that scene towards the end that’s giving that gnarly van scene from the 2003 “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.” If you know, you know.

“Heart Eyes” comes to theaters February 7, 2025.
