There’s no escaping Fromville, at least not just yet.
MGM+’s beloved supernatural horror series From has been picked up for a fourth season ahead of the finale for season three airing this Sunday. The John Griffin created series premiered in 2022 originally on EPIX which was later transitioned into MGM+. The series attempts to unravels the mystery of a nightmarish town that traps all those who enter as the unwilling residents fight to keep a sense of normalcy and search for a way out as they try their best to avoid the terrifying creatures that roam the night and other supernatural elements.
Harold Perrineau, who plays Boyd Stevens on the show, was featured in an announcement revealing another season would be “coming soon.”
There has been some bittersweet discourse in the FROMily circle though. While fans have been invested in the mysteries that surround the town, many have shared their disappointment in episodes going in circles with little to no promising revelations revealed. I’m with the later. I loved when From first came out. It was an interesting series that left me spooked and intrigued. I was itching for the next episode and rooting for the characters to find a way home, but now it seems every episode in season 3 has been filler with the last fives minutes actually giving something to move the plot along, slightly. I’m hoping the finale for the current season gives me something to look forward to in season 4.
Catch the season 3 finale of From on MGM+ on Sunday, November 24.
