The Garvey sisters are back and that means a new murder isn’t far behind. Created by Brett Baer, Dave Finkel, and Sharon Horgan, Apple TV+’s Bad Sisters returns for its second season on the streaming service in the middle of November.
Premiering back in 2022, Bad Sisters starred Sharon Horgan as Eva, Anne-Marie Duff as Grace, Eva Birthistle as Ursula, Sarah Greene as Bibi and Eve Hewson as Becka. The show followed the Garvey sisters bound together by their parents’ deaths and a promise to always protect each other. When a murder happens the sisters do whatever it takes to protect themselves.
The second season picks up two years after the “accidental death” of Grace’s abusive husband John Paul (Claes Bang). The sisters are moving on, but when past truths resurface the ladies are thrust back into the spotlight, suspicions are at an all-time high, lies are told, secrets revealed and the sisters are forced to work out who they can trust. Daryl McCormack and Michael Smiley are also set to reprise their roles from season one with Fiona Shaw, Owen McDonnell, Thaddea Graham, Barry Ward and Peter Claffey joining the cast.
The eight-episode second season will debut on Apple TV+ with the first two episodes on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, followed by weekly episodes every Wednesday through December 25.
