Let’s be frank, there are some children’s program that can be downright creepy, but in Hulu’s upcoming horror flick some can be so terrifying they may kill you. Directed by up-and-comer Brandon Espy, and written by Espy with Carl Reid, “Mr. Crocket” comes to Hulu next month as part of their Huluween celebration.
Based on the 2022 short of the same name for Hulu’s Bite Size Halloween, “Mr. Crocket” takes place in 1993 where a mysterious children’s show host, Mr. Crocket, magically emerges from television sets to kidnap young children and brutally slaying their parents in the process. After Mr. Crocket snatches one mother’s son, she embarks on a perilous quest to track down the demonic entertainer and rescue her boy. Jerrika Hinton, Ayden Gavin, Kristolyn Llyod, and Alex Akpobome star in the film with Elvis Nolasco as Mr. Crocket.
“Mr. Crocket” comes to Hulu on October 11.
