If you need something to beam about this Spooky Season then the release of the sequel to the 2022 film “Smile” might do the trick. The official trailer for “Smile 2” has been released and is teasing more about the sinister curse.
Written and directed by Parker Finn, Naomi Scott leads “Smile 2” playing global pop sensation Skye Riley. Soon to embark on a new world tour, Skye Riley begins experiencing increasingly terrifying and inexplicable events after she encounters the smile curse. “Overwhelmed by the escalating horrors and the pressures of fame, Skye is forced to face her dark past to regain control of her life before it spirals out of control,” reads the rest of the official synopsis.
“Smile 2” comes to theaters October 18, 2024 making it a perfect Spooky Season treat.
