Demi Moore and Margaret Qualley Star in Official Teaser For Body Horror Flick ‘The Substance’ Do You Want A Better Version of Yourself?

“Have you ever dreamt of a better version of yourself? Younger. More beautiful. More perfect.” Written and directed by Coralie Fargeat, “The Substance” centers on a black market drug that could change your life starring Margaret Qualley, Demi Moore, and Dennis Quaid.

Moore plays fading fitness celebrity Elisabeth Sparkle who decides to use a black market drug that is a cell-replicating substance that temporarily creates a younger, better version of herself, played by Margaret Qualley. Of course with any drug there is sure to be some side effects and from the looks at the trailer they will be dire. Joseph Balderrama, Hugo Diego Garcia, Oscar Lesage, and Olivier Raynal also appear in the cast.

Winner of Best Screenplay at 2024 Cannes Film Festival, “The Substance” is slated for a September 20, 2024 release date.
