A Pop Star Faces The Creepy Curse In ‘Smile 2’ Official Teaser Trailer

Here we go with this creepy smile showing up again, and you know what… bring it on.

The 2022 Parker Finn written and directed film “Smile” starred Sosie Bacon as Rose Cotter, a psychiatrist who becomes increasingly convinced she is being threatened by an uncanny entity that formulates in an eerie smile on people around her. The sequel, also written by Finn, stars Naomi Scott as pop sensation Skye Riley, who begins experiencing increasingly terrifying and inexplicable events.

I remember watching “Smile” and being so entertained by the concept and unexpected twists in the film, so I’m excited to see where this horror franchise can go. Kyle Gallner is slated to reprise his role as Joel from the 2022 film with Lukas Gage, Rosemarie DeWitt, Peter Jacobson, Dylan Gelula, and Miles Gutierrez-Riley joining the cast.

“Smile 2” comes to theaters October 18, 2024.
