Meagan Good and Cory Hardrict Star in ‘Tyler Perry’s Divorce in the Black’ [Official Trailer] Coming to Prime Video in July

Will Prime Video’s upcoming drama thriller be another case of the same ole Tyler Perry movie format? We’ll find out very soon with Meagan Good and Cory Hardrict starring in “Tyler Perry’s Divorce in the Black” coming to the streaming service next month.

Written, produced, and directed by Tyler Perry, Good plays Ava, a young bank professional who is devastated when her husband (Hardrict) abandons their marriage. Ava is determined to fight until fate intervenes, revealing the wicked deeds that once upon a time sabotaged her destiny to connect with her soulmate. The trailer seems to give the entire plot away, but knowing Tyler Perry films I’m sure there will be some unexpected curve ball thrown in.

Joseph Lee Anderson, Richard Lawson, Debbi Morgan, Taylor Polidore Williams, Art Newkirk, and Shannon Wallace also appear in “Tyler Perry’s Divorce in the Black” premiering on Prime Video on July 11.
