Ok, am I the only one that wasn’t aware Jake Gyllenhaal could carry a tune like this? Where have I been?
Jake Gyllenhaal returned to host Saturday Night Live over the weekend (his third time) for the sketch comedy’s season 49 finale with musical guest Sabrina Carpenter.
During his opening monologue, Jake joked about working with his “Road House” co-star Conor McGregor and how SNL is on the brink of a monumental 50th season come the fall and how wrapping up 49 seasons is equally as important. Gyllenhaal was then joined by SNL cast members Punkie Johnson, Ego Nwodim, Kenan Thompson, and Devon Walker to do a rendition of Boyz II Men’s hit 1991 song “End Of The Road” to say farewell to season 49. It was kind of amazing.
