What’s scarier than one twister coming at you at full force? Multiples ones.
In an update of 1996 film “Twister,” Daisy Edgar-Jones, Glen Powell, and Anthony Ramos lead the cast in “Twisters” coming this summer. The new film centers on a pair of storm chasers who have an experimental weather alert system they want to test that could cost them their lives who join a group of social media superstars who chase tornadoes for fun. As storm season intensifies, a terrifying phenomena never seen before is unleashed. What could go wrong?
The second official trailer for “Twisters” features a lot of footage out of context, so I still think this will be an exciting, yet loud, film to head to the theaters to see. Directed by Lee Isaac Chung with the story by Joseph Kosinski and screenplay by Mark L. Smith, Brandon Perea, Maura Tierney, Sasha Lane, Harry Hadden-Paton, David Corenswet, Daryl McCormack, Tunde Adebimpe, Katy O’Brian, Nik Dodani, Kiernan Shipka, and Paul Scheer also appear in the film.
“Twisters” comes to theaters on July 19, 2024. Watch the second official trailer in the clip below. Will you ride the fear this summer? Share your thoughts in the comments.
