Maxine Minx Takes on Hollywood and A Serial Killer in the ‘MaXXXine’ Official Trailer

In 2022 Ti West introduced what would soon become a highly anticipated horror trilogy with “X.” Mia Goth starred in the film as Maxine, an aspiring star who found herself on a secluded farm with friends (Jenna Ortega, Brittany Snow, Kid Cudi, Martin Henderson, and Owen Campbell) to make an adult movie in 1979, but became victims to the demented Pearl, also played by Goth. A little while later in the year West took viewers to 1918 in “Pearl” to give the backstory of how the young woman turned mad.

Now in 1985 Maxine has found herself in Hollywood with ambitious bigger than before to finally become famous but she must fend off a serial killer in the process in “MaXXXine.” Elizabeth Debicki, Moses Sumney, Michelle Monaghan, Bobby Cannavale, Halsey, Lily Collins, Giancarlo Esposito and Kevin Bacon also appear in “MaXXXine,” slated to come to theaters on July 5, 2024.
