We all have those songs that when we hear them we’re instantly transported back to a time in our lives. The upcoming film “The Greatest Hits” is bringing that concept to life.
Written and directed by Ned Benson, Lucy Boynton, Justin H. Min, David Corenswet and Austin Crute star in the film slated as a “love story centering on the connection between music and memory and how they transport us, sometimes literally.”
The trailer gives a lot away, but basically a girl loses the love of her life and discovers listening to certain songs brings her to moments with her beloved. I love this idea and am very curious to see how it ends. People have been comparing this to the 2004 film “The Butterfly Effect” and that’s one of my favorite movies, so I’m down for this one.
“The Greatest Hits” streams on Hulu on April 12, 2024.
