A Conniving Match Is Set In The New ‘Challengers’ Trailer Starring Zendaya

There’s no question in my mind that Luca Guadagnino’s “Challengers” will be a favorite film for me this year. After getting pushed from its September 2023 release the Justin Kuritzkes-written flick is a few months away from release with Zendaya, Josh O’Connor, and Mike Faist starring.

In “Challengers” Zendaya plays Tashi, a tennis prodigy who becomes a coach when she has a career-ending injury while on the court. Years down the line Tashi coaches her husband Art (Mike Faist) who is on a losing streak then tensions run even higher when Art must face off against his former best friend/Tashi’s former boyfriend Patrick (Josh O’Connor), but Tashi has some tricks up her sleeve. It’s “Her game. Her Rules.”

“Challengers” comes to theaters on April 26, 2024.
