The Vibrant and Chaotic Palm Beach High Society Lifestyle Is On Display in Apple TV+’s ‘Palm Royale’ Starring Kristen Wiig, Ricky Martin, Leslie Bibb, and Josh Lucas

Apple TV+ has previewed some of its lines up for the upcoming season and one of the most anticipated series is Palm Royale starring Kristen Wiig, Ricky Martin, Josh Lucas, and Leslie Bibb leading a packed all-star cast.

Loosely based on the novel “Mr. and Mrs. American Pie” by Juliet McDaniel, Palm Royale is set in 1969 and is written, executive produced, and showrun by Abe Sylvia. The show tells the story of an underdog by the name of Maxine Simmons, played by Wiig, who begins a journey to break into the Palm Beach high society social scene. “As Maxine attempts to cross that impermeable line between the haves and the have-nots, “Palm Royale” asks the same question that still baffles us today: “How much of yourself are you willing to sacrifice to get what someone else has?”,” reads part of the official synopsis.

Amber Chardae Robinson, Kaia Gerber, Laura Dern, Allison Janney, Carol Burnett, and Bruce Dern also appear in the series.

The first three episodes of Palm Royale premiere on March 20, 2024, followed by new episodes every Wednesday through May 8.
