Reality is Questioned in the ‘Parallel’ Trailer Starring Danielle Deadwyler and Aldis Hodge

What is reality? The idea of a multiverse has been depicted in many films and not just in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Two that immediately come to mind are the 2009 film “Triangle” and the 2013 film “Coherence.” Both deal with different versions of characters and realities colliding. The upcoming film “Parallel” can now be added to the bunch.

Directed by Kourosh Ahari and written by Aldis Hodge, Edwin Hodge, and Jonathan Keasey, “Parallel” stars Danielle Deadwyler, Aldis Hodge, and Edwin Hodge. Danielle Deadwyler plays Vanessa, a grief-stricken woman who takes refuge at a lake house following the loss of her child. While at the remote location, Vanessa crosses paths with an aberration of herself from a parallel universe and seeks answers in the multiverse to deal with her grief.

“Parallel” releases on February 23, 2024.
