Do you dare say his name twice? The sequel to the iconic 1988 film “Beetlejuice” is coming this fall and the official movie poster reveals some details.
On Thursday, the official poster dropped showing presumably Beetlejuice’s hands holding a ticket number revealing the release date. At the bottom of the poster the title “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” is written, a name perfectly fitting for “Beetlejuice 2.” The plot will be a follow-up to the 1988 film about a ghost recruited to help haunt a house.
Tim Burton is back as director on the sequel with Michael Keaton reprising his role as the titular character along with Winona Ryder and Catherine O’Hara returning to the franchise as Lydia and Delia Deetz. Jenna Ortega, Willem Dafoe, and Monica Bellucci are among the ensemble cast.
“Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” comes to theaters on September 6, 2024.
