Glen Powell Stars In the Netflix Anticipated Action Comedy ‘Hit Man’

Glen Powell has been booked and busy and his upcoming film “Hit Man” is one of his latest projects that is getting buzz. Inspired by a true story, “Hit Man” was acquired by Netflix following screenings at the Venice Film Festival and the Toronto International Film Festival.

Directed by Academy Award-nominee Richard Linklater, and co-written by Linklater and Powell, and based on the Texas Monthly article by Skip Hollandsworth, “Hit Man” follows Powell as Gary Johnson, a hit man who meets his match in a client “who steals his heart and ignites a powder keg of deception, delight, and mixed-up identities.”

Adria Arjona, Austin Amelio, Retta, Morgana Shaw, and Molly Bernard also appear in “Hit Man” coming to Netflix on June 7.
