Hey Nerds, ‘Stranger Things’ Season 5 Is Officially In Production

The Upside Down is coming back for one last time as Stranger Things fans know it with the fifth and final season now in production.

On the official Instagram page for the award-winning Netflix series a cast photo was shared with the caption, “🚨THIS IS A CODE RED🚨 STRANGER THINGS 5 production has officially begun!!!.” The photo included much of the cast: Winona Ryder (Joyce Byers), David Harbour (Jim Hopper,) Finn Wolfhard (Mike Wheeler), Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin Henderson), Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas Sinclair), Natalie Dyer (Nancy Wheeler), Charlie Heaton (Jonathan Byers), Joe Keery (Steve Harrington), Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven), Noah Schnapp (Will Byers), Cara Buono (Karen Wheeler), Sadie Sink (Max Mayfield), Priah Ferguson (Erica Sinclair), Maya Hawke (Robin Buckley), Brett Gelman (Murray Bauman), Jamie Campbell Bower (Vecna), and series creators Matt and Ross Duffer.

Stranger Things premiered on July 15, 2016, and follows the mysterious, supernatural, and sinister happenings in the small town of Hawkins, Indiana. The show is expected to wrap its final season in 2025.
