Here we are on the last day of 2023 and counting down the hours until the new year. New Year’s Eve brings a time of reflection for many and a time to look forward to the future. 2023 has been an interesting one for me personally and professionally. One big moment for me is doing on-camera work for my freelance gig Popternative.com (You can check out one of my videos below).

In recent years for me, the perfect New Year’s Eve has been the ones spent alone journaling, sipping champagne, grubbing on a curated menu I made for myself, and watching movies or TV shows. One of my faves is the 2011 film “New Year’s Eve.” Written by Katherine Fugate (“Valentine’s Day”) and directed by Garry Marshall (“Valentine’s Day,” “Mother’s Day”), the film intertwines several couples and singles in New York City on New Year’s Eve. The stacked cast includes Robert De Niro, Michelle Pfeiffer, Sarah Jessica Parker, Halle Berry, Jon Bon Jovi, Hector Elizondo, Katherine Heigl, Til Schweiger, Jessica Biel, Ashton Kutcher, Hilary Swank, Sofía Vergara, Josh Duhamel, Ludacris, Lea Michele, Seth Meyers, Abigail Breslin, and Zac Efron.

So before you pop the champagne and belt out “Auld Lang Syne” check out “New Year’s Eve.” Happy New Year and see you in 2024!

You can watch “New Year’s Eve” on Max. How are you spending your New Year’s Eve? Share your plans in the comments.
