‘Dead End’ Is The Perfect Christmas Movie If You Don’t Want Jingle Bells

Many people love Christmas movies and the holiday in general but there are those select few that despise the holiday and don’t want any of that cheer when watching films. If you are the latter then I got the perfect movie for you if you’re into horror.

Written and directed by Jean-Baptiste Andrea and Fabrice Canepa, “Dead End” stars Ray Wise, Lin Shaye, Mick Cain, Alexandra Holden, William Rosenfeld, and Amber Smith. The movie takes place on Christmas Eve as the Harrington’s travels to see family. Frank (Wise) decides to try a shortcut this time around for the first time in 20 years and falls asleep on the quiet and dark road leading to the overall terror of the film.

“Dead End” is one of my favorite B-side horror films. I laugh, I get creeped out, and enjoy the suspense. There are no real Christmas vibes in sight in the film only the mention of the holiday, a few wrapped gifts, and the singing of “Jingle Bells.” If you want a horror movie without Christmas being the main focus then “Dead End” is the movie for you. You can watch “Dead End” on Freevee, Prime Video, and Tubi.
