Pete Davidson Spoofs “I’m Just Ken” On ‘SNL’ Season Premiere

Saturday Night Live returned for its 49th season on Saturday, October 14 with former SNL cast member Pete Davidson hosting and rapper Ice Spice as the musical guest.

Pete cold opened the show by speaking on the crisis in the Middle East then he delivered a stand-up monologue talking about bonding with his sister over Game of Thrones, his struggles with addiction, and growing up on Staten Island. But the highlight of the show came with a spoof of Ryan Gosling‘s “I’m Just Ken” from the “Barbie” movie.

In the clip, Davidson performed “I’m Just Pete” as he talked about his drug addiction, “Skete,” his Peacock series Bupkis, and more. One thing SNL is always going to slay is music spoof.
